Overall great lil shorepounder
Finally got a fun board for those fun lil peaks right on the beach that I don’t wanna chance beating up my regular boards
Honestly very disappointed with this board. I was surprised to see it wasn’t laminated at the bottom but thought it could still be good. I was definitely wrong. The design of the board really drew me in but definitely does not perform like a fish.
First saw these boards on instagram and knew it was right up my alley. Few months later I saw they offered the afterpay payments and bought one that second. Since then, I have fully neglected my other boards. The future fin box makes the the board so diversive too. I got the F6 for more top to bottom surfing and even threw a set of Captain Fin Jeff McCallum Keels I had on it and its like a completely different board. Gives it a total retro feel, more speedy and down the line. Great board!
Trust me: Get one.
This thing is killer. Surfs like a classic twin fish. Doesn't feel like a 'soft top'. Great for experienced and beginners. Very strong and just all-around fun! I am 6'1" / weigh like 190lbs and suggest a bigger fin setup for anyone my size.
I’ve taken the board out
I’ve taken the board out three times and it definitely performs better than other foam boards I have tried. The board holds a rail well and doesn’t slide on turns like other foam boards. It is great not having to wax the board and I am stoked that it is recyclable. Overall the board looks cool, paddles well, turns way better that other foam boards and is just a ton of fun. I recommend everyone add this to their quiver especially for crowded breaks or messing around in shore break.
