01 / Understand the system
Three sections.
Every connection counts.
The nose, middle and tail join with the supplied tubes and pins. The point is simple: a rigid board on the water, separate pieces for the trip home.
The middle
The center section brings the board together and includes the carry handle. Check both joints before moving the assembled board.
The tail
The rear section carries the fin. Board connections and fin installation are two separate jobs—check both before entering the water.

The Tahoe brings a 34-inch-wide, rigid foam platform to recreational paddling. Think easy outings and room to enjoy the view.
What the shape gives you
The 9-foot length and 34-inch width create a broad platform. The included center fin helps the board track while you paddle; the three-piece construction keeps the board rigid without pumping it up.
Choose your conditions
For first outings, seek calm, sheltered water and suitable instruction. Check wind, weather, current and the return route. Ask about fit before choosing the Tahoe for surf or more demanding water.
Match the whole setup
Wear a properly fitted life jacket and use a leash suited to the environment. An ankle leash can create an entrapment hazard in moving water; get qualified advice before river use.

Lay out the three sections on a clean surface. Identify the four tubes, four pins and fin hardware before you start.
Connect
Align the pieces and follow the tube, pin and locking sequence in the board sheet. Check that both joints are fully secured.
Fit the fin
Use the matching plate, screw and fin-box instructions. Check the fit instead of forcing unfamiliar hardware.
Final check
Check the joints, fin, paddle adjustment and leash attachment. Choose suitable conditions and equipment before launching.

Separating the board changes how you carry and store it. Build a simple routine around the pieces and the small parts.
Rinse before you pack
Remove salt and sand with fresh water. Let the board and hardware dry before putting them away.
Follow the disassembly sequence
Use the instructions to release the joints and separate the board. Keep pins, tubes and fin hardware together.
Protect the pieces in transit
Measure your vehicle opening and storage space. Support the sections and keep hard gear from pressing into the foam.
Store cool, dry and shaded
Avoid prolonged heat and direct sun. Check the board and connections before your next outing.

Is the Tahoe inflatable?
No. The Tahoe is made from three rigid foam sections. You connect the sections to make the 9-foot paddleboard; there is no inflation step.
What is included?
The listed kit includes the three-piece Tahoe board, an adjustable paddle, a coil leash and a 9-inch fin, plus the supplied connection hardware. Lay everything out and check the contents before assembly.
How large is the assembled board?
The Tahoe is 9’0” long, 34” wide and 5” thick, with 212 liters of volume. The listed board weight is 27 pounds.
Will the packed board fit in my car?
The three sections make transport more manageable than carrying the full 9-foot board, but vehicle openings and storage spaces vary. Measure the space you plan to use and ask us for the packed measurements before ordering if fit is critical.
How much time and what tools should I allow for assembly?
Give yourself time to learn the connections before the first outing. The illustrated board and fin instructions show how to fit and secure the supplied hardware, including screwdriver steps. Keep a suitable screwdriver with the kit and follow the instructions that match your hardware.
What if a joint or part does not match the instructions?
Do not force a connection or substitute an unconfirmed part. Send Formula Fun clear photos of the board, the part and the joint, along with your order details if available.
How do I choose it for my size and experience?
Consider your experience, balance, the water you plan to paddle and the gear you will carry. Ask Formula Fun about your specific use before buying if you need a confirmed payload or suitability recommendation. Board volume alone is not a load rating.
Can I take it into waves?
Start by talking to Formula Fun about the conditions and paddling you have in mind. This guide focuses on recreational paddling and assembly; it does not give a surf-size or river-use rating. Conditions, equipment and instruction should match your ability.
