Asked before you have to.
What size surfer is the Canyon for?
It is intentionally compact for smaller riders. A brand-new surfer who needs maximum stability may be better served by a longer Formula Fun foamie.
Do they need lessons first?
Not necessarily. Whitewater, a sandy bottom and an adult nearby is a fine way to start; swimming ability and supervision still matter.
What if they ding it or drop it?
The recyclable foam core takes dings and tumbles that would crack a fiberglass board. No board is indestructible, so inspect damage and contact us for repair guidance.
What happens when they outgrow it?
Hand it down, or see the Board Recycling Loyalty Program for current terms.
